Checking the heifers by headlight.
At first light in the fog this morning, with the headlights from the pickup to help, I checked the heifers. Nothing happening but they are so peaceful that I linger for a awhile.

The new photos are beautiful. I drove to/from Danville on Friday and took in a lot of horizon in the process. Nothing to match first daylight and the rain hit as the sun went down. The light on the fields is really amazing. Incidentally, the cow is quite a resilient animal weather wise, isn't it?
Having no cows to check on, I'm off to bed.
